Procab's PRA901 is a robust microphone cable from the Prime series. It has top-quality Neutrik connectors with silver-plated contacts for an optimal signal transfer and the copper shielding ensures the signal will be free from interference too. It's equipped with a male XLR connector at one end and a female XLR at the other.

Ik heb deze kabel gekozen omdat ik hem vaak zal oprollen, en voor deze korte lengtes is deze kabel nog prima betaalbaar. Na goede ervaringen met de Reference serie ben ik ook zeer te spreken over deze Premium kabel. Vaak oprollen is vanwege zijn flexibele mantel geen probleem en ook met de (koper)draden van Procab heb ik nog nooit problemen gehad. De Neutrik connectoren passen zoals verwacht perfect op mijn apparatuur, stukken beter dan connectoren van andere merken.
Voor langere microfoonkabels blijf ik in verband met de aanschafprijs vertrouwen op de Reference serie (ik gebruik deze kabels niet professioneel). Die Reference kabels zijn nét iets minder flexibel, maar de prijs/kwaliteit-verhouding is wat mij betreft gunstiger.
