Wrote the following about Neutrik NCJ6FI-H-O Combo XLR/Jack Chassis Connector

Gekocht voor een regenbestendig karretje waar mijn accu gevoede mixer in komt. Deze connectoren komen dan aan de achterkant naar beneden wijzend achter een schotje. Heb deze gekozen omdat er ook gelijk een jack in kan zonder verloopstekker.

- De pinout is niet geschikt voor een breadboard, ok tot daar aan toe, maar is ook niet geschikt voor een standaard hobbyprintplaat (de afstanden wijken af van de standaard DIL/Dupont maten). Hier moet je dus een custom-made printplaat voor maken of gelijk aan een kabel solderen. Printje was een stuk gemakkelijker geweest om de TRS gelijk aan de XLR te koppelen en om ze allemaal netjes naast elkaar uit te lijnen.
- Let op: deze versie heeft geen latch, slotje om een XLR vast te klikken (er is wel een ander model die dat wel heeft, heb ik te laat gezien).

Al met al denk ik wel dat mijn project zal slagen met deze connectors.

Ik heb hem gebruikt in een dap soundmate 1 mk2 subwoofer. Het oude onderdeel was kapot en moeilijk van de printplaat af te halen maar is uiteindelijk allemaal gelukt en werkt naar behoren. Hij klemt goed en maakt goed contact met XLR kabel en heeft niet te veel speling.
