The Power Dynamics PDZM700 is a 6-channel zone mixer is a 19-inch rack unit that provides you with four audio zones. Zone mixers are often used in offices, pubs, fitness centres or restaurants in order to manage audio in different rooms from a central point. You've got five audio channels at your disposal, each with a 3-band equalizer, gain control and a fader. What's more, there's a special channel assigned to an optional microphone. You can connect multiple audio sources and send a different mix to each room in your setup.

Connect your audio devices via the two balanced stereo or RCA outputs. There are two USB inputs for connecting the mixer to your laptop or PC. Once connected, it will recognise your computer as an audio interface that you can use to send music to the various zones. There is a special mic channel with its own equalizer as well as two more mic channels for making announcements, for instance. Finally, plug in a set of headphones and listen to your pre-mix so you'll know exactly how the music will sound.
