The Visaton DPS 40 F - 100 V is a dipole flat panel loudspeaker that excels in situations where you want control over sound propagation, such as on open-air platforms. Thanks to its design, the sound is mainly directed horizontally, so that, for example, neighbouring platforms or adjacent areas receive much less sound than with a classic horn loudspeaker. This efficient method ensures that up to eight times less amplifier power is needed to achieve the same sound level. The frequency response ranges from 200 to 16,000 Hz, with a mean sound pressure level of 98 dB. You receive a lightweight 5.6 kg speaker, equipped with a 3-metre cable and protected with IP55 certification. Extreme temperatures are no problem either, with a range of -40 to 80°C.
