Technology is always developing, which is why Numark has introduced the CDN 77 USB. This dual multimedia player has the same durable build as its CDN counterparts, but offers a little something extra: USB connectivity. You can simply plug in your USB device or external hard drive, which makes the player ideal for mobile use as well as fixed installations. If you want, you can even play requests from a USB stick!
Small housing, large music collection
To make life exceedingly easy, Numark has equipped the CDN77USB with not one, but two USB ports for your external storage devices. Access your entire music collection on an external hard drive, and you still have a USB port available to play requests that are brought to you on a USB stick. Both players are able to access the same USB device at the same time.
Performance with a 19-inch construction
Mobile DJs will really appreciate the CDN 77 USB's compact housing, but the Numark multimedia player is also perfect for fixed installation in a pub, restaurant or club. It consists of separate controller and tray units, allowing for flexible installation, and won't take up too much space. In addition to its USB functionality, the CDN77USB also allows you to play back (MP3) CDs. For added flavour, there are scratch, seamless loop, pitch, reverse and brake functions. As such, both skilled DJs and inexperienced users will enjoy working with this versatile Numark multimedia player.

Wat minder is:
-Geluid kwaliteit is minder dan mijn Marantz maar die kosten ook 3x meer (optische uitgang, etc)
-Laden vd cd duurt langer dan normale cd speler
-BPM meter klopt vaak niet maar je kan handmatig ingeven
-Als je 1x 1 loop hebt gemaakt blijven alle 3 de lampjes (in/out/loop) blijven knipperen. Waarom kan dat niet uit?? Nu moet ik la open/dicht doen zodat knipperen stopt. (iemand een idee hoe dat makkelijker kan?)
Ik heb heel veel oude, originele cd's en tot nu toe nog geen probleem met afspelen. Misschien is die copy beveiliging waar je veel over leest iets wat alleen bij "nieuwere" cd's gebruikt is?
Conclusie:
Bax heeft weer snel geleverd (speler was er eerder dan het antwoord op mijn vraag op hun site..)
Mooi stevig apparaat alleen als je niet in 19" rack zet maar gewoon thuis bestel dan wel 2 rack rails mee zodat je de boven en onderkant aan elkaar kan vastzetten en wat betere RCA kabels.

Klein nadeeltje wat ik ondervind is dat hij niet blij is met grote usb sticks. Hij heeft dan problemen met lezen en de data op de usb stick raakt langzaam corrupt.
