General

The Visaton FR 8 JS - 8 Ohm is a versatile 8 cm fullrange speaker with a waterproof polypropylene cone, giving it excellent resistance to moisture. This speaker delivers a surprisingly powerful bass sound relative to its size and has a balanced frequency range from 80 to 20,000 Hz. This makes it ideal for built-in applications, such as column speakers, monitoring and ceiling mounting in buses or trains, for example. With a rated power of 10 watts (max 15 watts) and a sound pressure of 83 dB, the Visaton FR 8 JS is a reliable choice in both fixed installations and electronic musical instruments. Thanks to IP64 protection on the front when mounted correctly in a sealed enclosure, it is also suitable for applications where splashing water or dust is an issue.
