The Visaton FR 8 WP - 4 Ohm is a compact 8 cm (3.3-inch) fullrange speaker that is at home in challenging conditions. Thanks to its all-plastic construction, insulated magnet and silicone coating, this speaker is resistant to salt water, corrosion and moisture. With an IP65 rating on the front (in sealed enclosure), UV- and weather-resistant ASA plastic and temperature resistance from -40 to 80 °C, it is ideal for use on boats, in open vehicles, solariums or even in outdoor set-ups. Despite its modest size, the FR 8 WP delivers clear treble and a frequency range of 100 to 20,000 Hz. The speaker is also functional at extremely low temperatures according to EN 60068-2-1 and meets the Germanischer Lloyd requirements for electrical equipment.
