General

The Visaton K 28.40 – 8 Ohm is an exceptionally compact loudspeaker measuring just 2.8 by 4.0 cm, designed for applications where space is limited but sound quality is still a priority. Thanks to its robust, rectangular plastic basket and a lightweight paper cone, this miniature speaker delivers a highly linear frequency response ranging from 230 to 20,000 Hz. The use of a neodymium magnet not only makes the speaker powerful but also ensures its compact dimensions. With a nominal power of 2 watts, a peak power of 3 watts and a sound pressure level of 79 dB (1W/1m), it is ideally suited to designs where precision and efficiency are key. Connection is via solder tabs on the rear, which makes installation in projects straightforward.
