General

The Visaton SL 87 XA is a compact 8 cm (3.3 inch) full-range loudspeaker designed for applications where reliability and intelligibility are paramount. Thanks to its transparent plastic cone, rubber sealing ring and UV/weather-resistant finish, it is suitable for use in outdoor installations, alarm and notification systems, or as a monitor speaker in electronic equipment. The speaker delivers a high average sound pressure level and has a wide dispersion pattern. To achieve the specified IP protection rating, installation in a sealed enclosure (possibly glued) may be required.
