The Visaton W 100 S – 8 Ohm is a versatile 4-inch hi-fi low/midrange driver, featuring a coated paper cone and a flexible rubber surround. Thanks to its balanced frequency response, you can use this speaker as a woofer in small speaker systems, but it really comes into its own as a low-midrange driver in 3-way enclosures or subwoofer/satellite setups. The sensitivity is 86 dB (1W/1m), with a power handling capacity of up to 30 watts RMS and peaks of up to 50 watts. The 20 mm voice coil and a excursion of +/- 4 mm ensure a convincing (low-frequency) response. With its compact size, this driver is easy to integrate into a wide range of projects.
