General
The API 560 Special Edition brings back the legendary 1969 graphic EQ in a compact 500-series module. With 10 precision bands centred on octaves, up to 12 dB of boost/cut and the signature ‘Proportional Q’ – which filters more broadly at mild settings and more sharply at extremes – you can dial in the perfect curve instantly and consistently. Thanks to the 2520 op-amp and API’s custom transformers, every adjustment sounds musical and powerful – that unmistakable ‘punch in your gut’ sound. Classic American craftsmanship, finally available again.
