General

Heritage Audio's 2264JR is a compressor built to fit the 500 Series Lunchbox format. Its diode bridge design has been carried over from the classic Neve 2254 and the 2264JR even serves as a 1073-style preamp. Because it has the warmth of an opto compressor but the fast attack of a FET model, the 2264 is maybe the odd one out among popular opto, VCA and FET compressors, but in a definitively good way.
