Everything genuinely sounds better when put through a Heritage Audio HA-73 EQ Elite. This mono preamplifier and equaliser is a devotional ode to the renowned Neve 1073 module and is designed to enhance the signal of microphones, Hi-Z instruments and line signals. The equaliser offers three bands and a high-pass filter for detailed shaping of the signal before passing it onto a DAW.
A Thick Slice of Rock 'n' Roll History
Back in the '70s, Neve was producing the 1073 module as part of the 88A mixing desk. Neve's preamp was not exactly transparent but the character that this module added was so harmonic and musical that it could be applied to any audio source or genre. The instantly recognisable fullness that the 1073 creates can be heard on almost any album made between 1970 and now.
