General

The IGS Audio EQM500 is a compact problem solver in the world of analogue equalisers. It can be mounted in a 500-series rack cabinet. It features three bands: the mid-band, which is the most important, offers a choice of 12 base frequencies between 200 Hz and 7 kHz and allows you to filter out or reduce certain unwanted frequencies, such as resonances in the recording space. The low band is switchable in six modes between 200 and 1500 Hz and the high band has six modes between 1.2 and 8 kHz. These two give you the option of making the signal sound fuller or brighter, for example.
