The slim Lindell Audio PEX-500 basically houses the essence of what made the original PulTec so good, so you get the pick of the same frequency booster (bell) and frequency cutters, and a very specific range of selectable frequencies that have proved themselves continuously for decades already. That infamous low-end-trick can also be performed with ease, so you can lay a nice and thick bottom-end down for your mix, which is reason enough to add the PEX-500 to your sonic arsenal.
