General
The Visaton FR 6.5" - 8 Ohm is a high-quality low midrange driver that lends itself perfectly to 2-, 3- or 4-way high-end loudspeaker configurations. With its rigid and anodised aluminium cone, solid aluminium die-cast basket and flexible rubber surround, this speaker delivers accurate midrange and low frequencies up to 38 Hz, depending on the enclosure. Thanks to the vented pole plate and kapton voice coil, loss remains minimal, even at high volumes. The extra-long stroke of the voice coil allows exceptionally large cone excursion, up to 11 mm. With a load capacity of 70 watts RMS and 100 watts peak power, this loudspeaker component is a solid choice for building demanding audio systems.
