Ibanez' PNB14E is an electro-acoustic bass guitar with a top, back and sides made of African mahogany and an open pore matte finish. Ik wilde een akoestische basgitaar met ongeveer dezelfde afmetingen als een gewone gitaar en die heb ik gevonden! Hij speelt lekker licht, precies wat ik zocht. Als je hem inplugt heeft hij een mooi vol basgeluid, veel krachtiger dan je van zo'n klein instrument zou verwachten. En dat tegen een prima prijsje!
Ik speel in een folkband en de anderen hebben hem ook goedgekeurd ;)

Voor beginners, kinderen en vrouwen met kleine handen is dit een prima instrument, De mechanieken zijn zeer soepel en de elektronica is ook in orde. Het geluid is natuurlijk smaak en met de geleverde snaren kun je niet het optimum verwachten. Snaren is een apart item en ook van persoonlijke smaak afhankelijk. De prijs-prestatie-verhouding is super. Voor relatief weinig geld heb je een prima instrument.
