This fast-growing wood is sustainable and incredibly durable, and ultimately, gives this deep-diving instrument its brightness, masses of sustain, and potent projection. As if that wasn't enough, it also gifts this bass uke with a handsome striped finish whether you're looking at the solid soundboard or the rest of the body, neck, or even the bridge. The Kala U-Bass comes fitted with an active preamp for on-stage and studio amplification and a deluxe gig bag has also been thrown in for excellent measure.
