Weighing less than 5 kilograms, delivering a sociable 5 Watts of power, driven by just two 9V batteries, and fully wrapped in tweed, the Kala Mini Tweed 5w Amp is a solid partner for an electro-acoustic ukulele. This coffee-table-friendly amplifier features a 5 inch speaker and a set of volume, treble and bass controls for customising the sound while, via the fitted AUX input, a phone or mp3 player can be hooked up so you can jam along to playlists and backing tracks. So you can do everything without bothering anyone - you can even plug in a set of headphones.
