Allow yourself to be surprised by the many options of this rich-sounding 100W stereo combo and its two 8-inch speakers. This amp has all sorts of practical features, such as D.I. out, FX loop with send/return jacks and a feedback-reduction filter. Its four channels each have their own tone control and the amp has no fewer than 16 digital stereo effects.
The Possibilities of the AS100D
As we mentioned, the AS100D features no fewer than four channels. Channel 1 is specially made for guitar and boasts a mid-range cut/boost function while Channel 2 can take both phantom-powered microphones or guitars. Channel three is specifically for microphones and also has a phantom-power option. The fourth channel can be used for stereo source devices such as an MP3 player or drum computer.

Zowel mijn met piezo's uitgeruste vintage Ovations als de met meer moderne Fishman uitgeruste Lowden gitaren klinken stuk voor stuk warm en natuurlijk. Zowel de nylon als de staalsnarige versies.
De effecten zijn een mooie, subtiele toevoeging/aanvulling aan het gitaargeluid en je kunt zelfs er zelfs iets verder Mee gaan dan aanvulling op het geluid. Op de draaiknop is soms moeilijk te zien welk effect je nu precies hebt ingesteld, maar dat hoor je natuurlijk snel genoeg en bovendien is het met akoestische gitaar vaak zo dat je niet heel veel wisselt. Wil je meer uitgesproken externe effecten, dan is er een effectloop aanwezig.
Bovendien is de AS100D werkelijk een juweel om te zien. Nee, voor deze prijs weet ik geen betere versterker dan deze Marshall (ik heb ook een Fishmann staan).

Geluid fantastisch met spelen en tevens met zang goed te combineren zeker de moeite waard.

Ik speel samen met een zangeres in een bandje en deze versterker kan zowel mijn gitaar als haar+mijn stem versterken. We kunnen er zelfs nog een extra instrument aan vasthangen indien we zouden willen!
Geeft ook zeer helder en zeer mooi het geluid van mijn martin door.
De effecten (en vooral de reverb) mochten ietsje meer uitgesproken aanwezig zijn, maar dit is niets wat niet kan opgelost worden met een pedal.
Ook is hij nogal aan de zware kant, maar het vervangt dan ook wel praktisch een volledige PA.
Dit is volgens mij één van de beste en meest veelzijdige akoestische versterkers vooraleer je opstapt naar lampenversterkers.

Heeft dus veel mogelijkheden naar het afstemmen indien je een bepaalde sound wil.
Gewoon jammer dat je de fx niet afzonderlijk op de verschillende kanalen kan kiezen. Delay op gitaar wil ook zeggen delay op de microfoon, tenzij je de fx van de microfoon uitzet natuurlijk.
Versterker is ook behoorlijk zwaar om zomaar eventjes mee rond te lopen.
Ik ben alvast tevreden .....;-)
