General
The Schertler Unico Classic is a real all-rounder, which explains why it's so popular with acoustic guitarists and other performers. Anything the Classic can do though, the Unico can do too, and a little bit more on top! With 250 watts of power, it's a little bit louder, it has a larger 10-inch woofer and it has five channels instead of three. The popular spring reverb has been retained, of course, as has Schertler's renowned sound quality.
Schertler Unico: controls
Every one of the five input channels has its own gain control so you can mix your sound to perfection. Each channel also has Phantom power on board (48V for Mic and 10V for Dyn and Stat). It's easy to connect the Unico to external devices like a mixer or an active speaker too. The Dyn and Stat channels each have a three-band equalizer, while the Mic channel has a four-band version. There's also a resonance filter to reduce feedback from low frequencies.
Spring Reverb
As we've already mentioned, the popular spring reverb found on the Unico Classic has been retained on the Unico 250W. Again, you'll find a separate volume control for this on each channel. Finally, if you want to add an external processor, that can be done using the input found on the Master section.
