Seymour Duncan SA-3HC Woody Hum Canceling Sound-Hole Pickup

Once fitted, it sounds great, but boy was it a bugger to fit! My advice is to slacken off (or remove) all the strings and pull the rubber foam halfway out of the left-hand (bass) side slot before trying to fit this pickup.

Pulling the foam halfway out allows the wood of the sound hole to slip between the underside of the top lip and the foam itself, and and gives you enough leeway to push the whole assembly sufficiently toward the bass side to allow the right-hand (treble) side to clear the edge of the soundhole. Before I hit on this trick I was really worried that I going to crack the soundboard of my guitar with the effort I was putting into try to push the pickup across enough to get it to fit. :(

The only other thing is that 4.2m built-in lead. I see what they're trying to do using it, and if I could simply swap the pickup in and out, I'd leave it as it is. But I can't, not easily at any rate. So what I'm going to do is run the lead down the edge of the pickguard, round the outside of the lower bout and, when it gets just past the lower strap button, cut it there and fit a jill socket to the end. At the moment, with the pickup fitted, and the lead stowed away in its bag, the guitar looks as if it's had a colostomy.
