General
Boasting the same period-correct build and sound of a classic '59-er, the Seymour Duncan SH-1b dual-coil bridge pickup spits sweet and authentic, vintage-flavoured output. This edition can be mounted in the bridge position of most solid-bodied electric guitars while the neck variant of this take on a legendary pup comes with a little less output.
The Vintage Features of the SH-1N '59
The Seymour Duncan 59 humbucker is already known for shaping bell-like cleans, full and defined distortions and a singing sustain. This is all courtesy of the original fifties specifications: an alnico 5 magnet, an enamelled coil, a baseplate finished with long feet and vintage-style single-conductor braided wiring. Compared to the SH-55 Seth Lover, the mids are more scooped and, since the SH-1b 59 2 Conductor has been wax potted, unwanted feedback is efficiently countered to support clean and responsive sound.

Monté en Bridge sur une Epiphone LesPaul Studio (surtout pour de l'openG) -
installation hyperfacile (faut savoir souder quand même...) attention, non splittable donc 1 fil point chaud et une masse - changer le potard pour un 500Khom Logarythmique (6 à 10) qui donne une excellente gestion du Gain.
son Obtenu (tonelab SE, divers preset à base d'ampli Vox)- son très fin et rageur à souhait. Très bonne définition du son même avec une grosse distortion. Des Harmoniques qui sortent toutes seules. C'est parfait pour du rock même soutenu, du blues. Je suis très satisfait. Rapport qualité/prix excellent.
