DiMarzio DP100BK Super Distortion element

General

The DiMarzio DP100BK Super Distortion has brought about a sound revolution. Before the invention of the Super Distortion in the early 1970s, elements were rarely replaced. Because of the unique sound of these humbuckers, many people started rebuilding their guitars to get that overdriven sound too. This pickup works very well to get a nice distortion out of your tube amp.

From jazz-rock to metal

The DiMarzio DP100BK Super Distortion reproduces a nice balance between power and tone. Both chords and single notes jump out of your amp and fill the room with a wall of sound. The element's common shape makes it easy to fit into many guitar models. Well-known guitarists, from jazz-rock to metal, play with these humbuckers in their guitars. This is the pickup for anyone who wants something different from their sound.

DiMarzio DP100BK Super Distortion pickup

DiMarzio DP100BK Super Distortion pickup
