General

The Tone Zone is a warm-sounding humbucker for the bridge position on your guitar. The emphasis of these elements is in the low and mid-low. This makes chords you play sound full and thick and the treble has plenty of body too. Not only does the pickup sound warm and thick, but the highs produced by the Tone Zone also have a sparkling sound.

F-spacing

What sets the DiMarzio DP155FBK apart from the DiMarzio DP155BK is the distance between the poles of the magnet. These are exactly in the right places if you have a Floyd Rose system on your guitar. Due to the so-called F-spacing, the strings lie exactly over the poles so that each string is picked up optimally.
