General

D'Addario's EJ34 Folk Nylon is a set of high-quality nylon strings for your acoustic guitar. This string set consists of 'black trebles' and '80/20 bronze basses'. In other words: the unwound strings are made of black nylon and the bass strings have a bronze winding. This makes the set sound brighter than traditional nylon strings for classical guitars, which is why the EJ43 is also fit for steel-string acoustic guitars, especially the smaller folk types.

D'Addario EJ34 Folk Nylon: ball-ends
The strings in this set are equipped with so-called ball-ends. These small rings at the end of the string make these nylon strings fit for acoustic guitars that use 'bridge pins'. They are also very handy for classical and Spanish guitars, as they preclude the need for complicated knot tying at the bridge of your guitar.

Helaas na 3 maanden de hoge e snaar geknapt bij het balletje..zonde!
Nu toch een ander setje besteld van ander merk.

La corde mi aigüe a cédé au 1er accordage au niveau de la « boule » en plastique. Jen avais acheté deux jeux. La seconde a tenu. Je dois cependant ré accorder ma guitare avant chaque usage, elle perd environ un demi ton par 24 heures.

2 keer een setje gekocht van 'd Addario EJ34 nylon snaren en elke keer breekt binnen een maand de hoge E snaar.
Voor mij duidelijk: nooit meer deze snaren, steeds op verschillende plek, niet op kam of brug dus daar kan het niet aan liggen. Ook niet per ongeluk te hoog aangedraaid. Ga ander merk zoeken.
Heel jammer want het geluid is prachtig en ze krijgen een hoge beoordeling op internet. Maar als ze kapot springen heb je er niks aan.
