Cryogenically treated, Dean Markley Blue Steel strings boast long-lasting and much-loved, balanced sound. This pack of Extra Light acoustic strings includes gauges .010 to .047, blending full-bodied tone with smooth playability. By freezing these strings at -195º Celsius, the molecules tighten, shrinking the microscopic gaps between each molecule and resulting in a better string that's more resistant to corrosive dirt and sweat. Another benefit of this specialised freezing process is that transient frequencies are removed, pulling the shrillness out of the trebles and cleaning the mud out of the basses.
