General
The Furch Violet D-ER a 2026 is a premium acoustic western guitar for guitarists seeking a balanced tone, excellent playability and a high-quality finish. This dreadnought combines a solid Engelmann spruce top with solid Indian rosewood for the back and sides. This produces a dynamic sound with clear trebles, warm basses and a long sustain. Thanks to Furch’s individual voicing process, each top is tuned separately to ensure a consistent and musically rich tone.
Advanced construction and resonance
The Violet D-ER a utilises various innovative Furch technologies. The CNR System® Active ensures an extremely stable neck construction that automatically adapts to changes in humidity. This keeps the string action at an optimal level over the long term and minimises maintenance. In addition, the ultra-thin Open-Pore Finish allows the wood to resonate freely, bringing out the full natural character of the Engelmann spruce and Indian rosewood. The result is a responsive guitar with plenty of projection and expression.
Comfortable playing experience
This Furch also impresses in terms of playing comfort. The Brankowood® fingerboard features specially finished frets that do not extend right to the edge. This prevents protruding fret ends, even as humidity levels fluctuate. The comfortable Furch soft V-neck, high-quality TUSQ nut and saddle, and the precision-engineered Furch tuning machines make this guitar suitable for both fingerstyle playing and powerful pick-based playing. A high-quality Furch gig bag is included as standard.
