General

The Furch Violet D-EM a Dreadnought is an all-solid dreadnought that immediately impresses, both in looks and sound. The Engelmann spruce top has a slightly softer attack than Sitka, making the guitar very versatile. The side and back of African mahogany add warm basses and a rich midrange, with a sustain that lingers nice and long. Furch adds its own individual voicing process, tuning each top separately for maximum resonance and a wide dynamic range. The result is a balanced, bright sound with a unique personality!

Stable, comfortable and low-maintenance

Thanks to the CNR System® Active, the neck of the Furch Violet D-Em automatically adjusts to changing humidity and temperature. The carbon-reinforced truss rod and self-regulating system keep string height consistent, making expensive neck resets largely unnecessary. The Brankowood® fingerboard with shortened frets also ensures that the frets never stick out in dry conditions. And with the Open-Pore Finish, Furch allows the wood to breathe and resonate freely. The subtle black details; binding, pickguard and rosette, give the Violet its characteristic, no-nonsense look. You can take it anywhere straight away with the supplied gig bag and the Furch Violet D-EM a Dreadnought does not disappoint!
