General

The Sigma Guitars SDR-42S features a slotted or open headstock, which also explains the S at the back of the name. This all-solid acoustic western guitar is a dreadnought model. This means that the soundboard delivers a lot of volume with sufficient resonance. Equipped with a solid top made of AA-grade adirondack spruce, allowing you to enjoy a spruce clear midrange where every note comes out beautifully. The sides and back, in turn, are made of solid indian rosewood that contributes to a warm accent. Because the body is finished in silk gloss with an aging toner, you get a vintage look and the grain of the wood comes out beautifully.

Attention to every detail

Not only was the choice of wood considered, Sigma Guitars paid attention to every detail when building the SDR-42S. The other components are of absolute top quality. Just think of Grover's reliable gold tuners or the bone nut and saddle. Playing comfort has clearly been thought of too, as your left hand will move smoothly over the ebony fingerboard located on a low-profile mahogany neck. The stylish design with decoration on the slotted headstock, binding, rosette and tortoise pickguard makes this instrument a gem you will enjoy for a long time. After playing, you can safely store this guitar in the supplied soft case.
