General

There are many inexpensive entry-level violins on the market, but the student will soon outgrow them. It is therefore worth considering buying a higher-quality violin. The Stagg VN 4/4 High Grade is still affordable, but it stands out because of its high-quality components. For instance, a solid spruce top has been chosen. This contributes to a clear and focused sound. Because the sides and back are made of flamed maple, this Stagg violin looks like a real top model. Comes complete with deluxe soft-case, bow and rosin.

The violin size 4/4

The size 4/4 is used for adults and for children with an arm length from about 60 cm. For younger children, there are also sizes like 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/10. You measure the arm length from the middle of the palm to the neck, directly below the jaw. The hand should now be able to fold comfortably around the curl, with the fingers pointing to the face and the elbow very slightly bent. If in doubt between two sizes, it is best to take the smaller of the two.

Goede hars.
Wij gebruiken verschillende strijkstokken om percussie-effecten te creëren op vibrafoon- en marimbalatten. De hars zorgt ervoor dat er makkelijk geluid ontstaat.

Er blijft wel wat residue hangen op de latten zelf, maar met een simpele veeg is het weg.
