Since the build includes a solid spruce top and solid mahogany for the back and sides, you can count on a bright foundation sound supported by excellent projection, while the pre-installed synthetic gut strings help to fully bring out every bit of nuance you care to put in your play. For that little bit of extra playing ease, Stentor have further equipped the SR1542 with an ebony fretboard, and the body and neck have been both finished in a timeless satin matte varnish to give the instrument its chic looks.

There's more to the SR5142 that'll make the life of any beginner a lot easier when they're trying to master the violin, seeing as Stentor have also equipped the instrument with a tailpiece with four fine-tuners as well as a hardwood chin rest to ensure proper playing posture. In addition, you're not only getting a violin, but a bulletwood bow with ebony frog, rosin and a practical soft case. This lightweight oblong case even has a spacious accessory compartment, comfortable shoulder straps and two bow holders, in other words: everything you need for the perfect start.
