General

The TS215W by Alto Professional makes it possible to play music wirelessly from any media player with Bluetooth functionality. This speaker is equipped with a powerful 15-inch woofer and a 2.5-inch voice coil for a broad, powerful sound. Besides wireless connectivity via Bluetooth, another connection option is via the XLR/jack inputs on the rear. You can also pair the TS215W with a second Bluetooth speaker for stereo audio. All this is wrapped up in one sturdy, polypropylene cabinet with a steel grille.

Active speaker with Bluetooth

The Alto Pro TS212W features a 15-inch LF driver and a 1-inch HF driver. The whole thing is driven by a dual amplifier system with active crossover and a built-in equalizer. The TS215W also has a 2-channel mixer, each with its own volume control. Internally, there are electronic safeties added that protect against clipping, high temperatures, and transducer overdrive. Its efficient design means it produces less noise and less warmth than a conventional speaker. You just can't go wrong with the Alto Professional TS215W!

Wrote the following about Alto Pro Truesonic TS215W active speaker with Bluetooth

Ben een beetje teleurgesteld in de bluetooth functie van deze luidsprekers. Je kunt de luidsprekers d.m.v. Bluetooth met elkaar koppelen en dit gaat gepaard met een hoop lawaai (knalharde piepen gedurende 10-15 sec). Echter de gekoppelde luidspreker heeft absoluut geen storingsvrije weergave (ongeacht de afstand). Het geluid stoort vrijwel continu. Ik zal hierover ook contact opnemen met de klantenservice van Bax, want ik verwacht niet veel tevreden gebruikers van deze bluetooth functie. Een ander nadeel is dat ook de geluidskwaliteit zeer te wensen over laat, het klinkt via bluetooth nogal al dunnetjes en dit kan dus alleen worden gecompenseerd wanneer je bluetooth speler een uitgebreide equalizer functie heeft. Wanneer je de luidsprekers overigens gewoon via XLR gebruikt is het geluid erg lekker en ook bij hoog volume is absoluut niet teleurstellend. Ik zocht een full-range speaker die voldoende lage tonen kon weergeven voor een middelgroot zaaltje en daar zijn ze absoluut geschikt voor. Bovendien is het uiterlijk/afwerking van de speaker erg netjes.
