DB Technologies K 300 active speaker

+ 5 kg 300 watt

+ Veelzijdig

+ Durable (50+ events)

+ Nice looking

+ Speech sounds very clear

+ DB; prijs kwaliteit dus goed

- geen handvat

- boven 3/4 snel vervorming

- prijs (je betaald voor de mobiliteit)

DB Technologies K 300 active speaker

I purchased these speakers to use them for small DJ gigs (garden, small parties inside). These speakers really didn't live up to my expectations. The sound is rather flat, lots of highs, the mediums are also not so good but what is missing the most is some decent bass.
I tried to hook it up with a B&W subwoofer but even with that the sound was not so good.

Also for listening to music you can only turn the speaker volume up to max 1/2 of their power. Already at this point you feel the sound starts to deteriorate.

My conclusion:
+ portability, 5kg each;
+ power for non dj use, if do not need bass these speakers go really loud for their size (ie singing or guitar playing);
+ Price: quite cheap for active speakers with 300w power

- not made for DJing or listening to music at high volume
- sounds lack of bass
- manufacturer does not provide the carrying handle (!)

Great service from Bax Shop as usual...
