General

The Flex 15A speaker is indeed flexible, in the wider sense of the word. Not only is it equipped with various connection options, it also has a built-in MP3 player that works with USB, SD and even Bluetooth. It is great for background music, or for solo entertainers who want to stream music from a tablet for their act.

Technology of the Flex 15A speaker
The Flex 15A is fitted with an internal bi-amp module of 300 Watt RMS, that divides its power between the lows and the highs due to the internal crossover. 75 Watt are allocated to the 1.35 inch compression driver that reproduces the high frequencies, and 300 Watt are assigned to the 15 inch woofer. The Flex 15A sports several connectors for audio sources: you can choose from balanced XLR, 6.35 mm jack, or even stereo RCA connectors.

Use and construction of the Flex 15A
The Flex 15A has a clever construction that can be used in various ways. It is fitted with a 35mm stand adapter that can be tightly fastened with a locking screw for stability, reducing resonance and free movement of the speaker. Additionally, the speaker can be used as a monitor thanks to two accessory feet, or even mounted by means of its mounting points.

Please note: the Flex 12A speaker only has an infra-red receiver located at the front. If you are behind the speaker, it might not respond well.
