Samson Auro X15D active speaker

General

The Samson Auro X15D is an active 2-way speaker, fitted with a 15-inch woofer and a 1.34-inch tweeter. These are each separately powered (bi-amped) by a powerful class-D amplifier with a continuous power of 500 watts. As each speaker can fully focus on its own frequency range, this results in a balanced, full, smooth and dynamic sound. A special feature of the Auro X15D is its internal DSP processor, which ensures a sublime sound.

The Auro X15D allows for Digital Signal Processing (DSP). A DSP processor prevents the speaker from overloading, and it has the algorithms of a linear phase filter and multi-band compressor. This means that you will be able to enjoy a defined, full and neat sound.

Portable

The Class-D amplifier and robust polypropylene (synthetic) housing are both very light of weight, rightfully earning the Samson Auro X15D the title of lightweight speaker, and making it perfect for fixed installations as well as mobile use. It is also easy to transport. The synthetic housing can take a hit and doesn't scratch easily. A metal grille protects the speakers.
