General

The dB Technologies L160D is a compact, double 5-inch active speaker with a 1-inch tweeter, suited for countless applications. This would be a great addition to a fixed installation in the restaurant industry, or for use with multi-media purposes or mobile applications, for example. Especially if your sound system is all about sound quality, clarity and background music, the L160D might be just the speaker for you! The housing features four M5 rigging points, so you can mount your speaker to a variety of optional wall mounts or stand adapters.

Technical features of the L160D

This active speaker is equipped with a Digipack amp module, so you know it's packing a lot of power. The amplifier delivers 160 watts of power, which is more than enough to keep your sound tight, even at higher volumes. Moreover, this speaker by dB Technologies features a DSP processor with eight options so you can optimise it to fit your needs. You also have the option of adding a Sub 28D underneath, so you have a great compact speakers system with an excellent sound. It's ideal for mobile entertainers who are looking for a full sound, but don't want to have to carry too much with them.

Wrote the following about DB Technologies L160D active speaker

Uitstekende speaker met een hoge geluidsdruk. Klinkt geweldig goed. Wij gebruiken deze speakers naar volle tevredenheid in onze kerkdiensten/samenkomsten. Omdat deze speakers zo veel power hebben, zijn ze ook geschikt voor de wat grotere zalen tot +/- 300 mensen. Ook het laag is niet slecht, voor wat meer sub zou ik aanraden een sub-speaker erbij te nemen.
Ik ben nu aan het sparen om deze speakers ook voor mijn eigen live set te gaan kopen. Een aanrader!!
