General
The Opera series have been one of dB Technologies most popular speaker ranges for years. That's because they offer exceptional power and purity at an affordable price. Naturally, the range has evolved over time to keep up with the latest developments. The Opera 10, for instance, is driven by a processor that gives you detailed, yet simple control over the sound. With a 10-inch woofer on board, this model is perfect for small to medium-sized rooms.
Acoustic design
One of the reasons for the success of the Opera speakers is their unique acoustic design. The asymmetrical cone, in particular, is one the most important features because it ensures optimal sound dispersion. This has been completely redesigned on the Opera 10, making it even better than before. The DSP with FIR processing is also new, and guarantees a balanced sound overall. There are 8 EQ presets available so that you can adjust the sound perfectly for any environment.
Connections
When it comes to connections, the Opera 10 is highly versatile. There are two inputs on the back that can be used to connect a microphone and an instrument. At the flick of a switch, either of the inputs can be used as a line input instead. The speaker has a small internal mixer built in, meaning you won't need to connect a separate mixer if you want to keep things simple. A link output makes it easy to connect the Opera 10 to a second speaker. Another example of the Opera 10's versatility is the ability to use it as a floor monitor.
