General
The Devine DM 58 is a dynamic microphone that is suitable for a wide range of applications. It's great for vocals, but thanks to a maximum sound pressure level of 135 dB it is also able to handle exceptionally loud audio sources, such as guitar amplifiers and drums. The Devine DM 58 has a cardioid pickup pattern, which means it accurately registers all sound coming from the front, but discards sound coming from the sides and the back, enabling you to really turn up the gain on your mixer during live performances without causing feedback.
Innox microphone stand
In addition to an excellent microphone, this starter package offers the rugged, adjustable Innox IVA 12, a microphone stand with a boom arm that is suited for heavier mics and holds its own under demanding circumstances. You can mount your DM 58 microphone on this secure, stable stand with the Innox CL 10 microphone clip that is also included. The package also provides you with a Devine MIC100 microphone cable, which is equipped with high-grade XLR connectors and delivers a problem-free signal transmission from your mic to your mixer.

This means that you can't sit on chairs with a particularly high seat, particular if you are tall. It should be find for most use cases, but just make sure you know what is going to be used for.

I find these stands to have exceptional build quality at the price point. The large knob used to tighten the boom arm pivot is a particularly good feature, allowing artists with weaker grip strength to fix even heavier mics firmly in the desired position. For this money it is a no brainer - you need to spend 2-3 times as much to get similar quality elsewhere.

Looks sturdy but the thread on the height adjustment is very odd on mine, sometimes it tightens nicely, sometimes it just keeps turning and doesnt tighten but the inner pole doesnt drop, so its not a massive issue
