General

Could you use some extra bass sound? The DAP Pure-18AS is an active subwoofer with a heavy duty 18-inch woofer that produces a nice low sound. The RMS power of this speaker is 800 watts, but you can peak up to 1600 watts. Thanks to the protective coating, the plywood enclosure of this subwoofer is protected from moisture and scratches. The metal grille ensures that your woofer and tweeter sit securely. Also inside, the Pure-18AS is equipped with several electronic safety systems such as a compressor, limiter, overload protection and a convection fan.

Built-in DSP module

The DAP Pure-18AS is equipped with a 24-bit DSP module. This allows you to set a lot of settings. So you can get the ultimate sound you need for a specific event. You can save up to 6 set ups for easy reuse next time. The DSP's menu is clear and easy to use. You can find the full menu on the LCD screen at the back of the speaker. Using the LEVEL button next to the display, you control the different settings, switching between the different effects is very quick. Press the knob to choose an effect, turn the knob to get the desired setting and press again to save this setting.
