General
The Pioneer Pro Audio XPRS 215S subwoofer is a power to be reckoned with. A double 15" horn-loaded woofer delivers exceptionally rich and deep bass that is guaranteed to get the crowd dancing. The active subwoofer's special design is responsible for a maximum SPL of 135 dB, while the specially developed bi-amped class-D amplifier is good for a peak power of 2,400 watts. The XPRS 215S weighs in at almost 56 kilos, but comes with four swivel caster wheels, so you don't have to worry about your back.
The XPRS 215S in practice
The XPRS 215S is a remarkably user-friendly subwoofer. As it features a double Line In/Line Out, you can use it in either a 2.1 or a 2.2 configuration. Of course it's also possible to daisy-chain several units. In that case, make sure to hit the 180-degree phase switch on the back to make sure they don't cancel each other out, and get ready to blow your audience off their feet!
