The Yamaha DXS 12MKII 12-inch active subwoofer is compact in size but delivers a low-end you'd expect from a professional PA speaker. This makes the DXS 12MKII ideal for use in intimate venues or on location in mobile setups. Compared to its predecessor, this sub has a more powerful Class-D amplifier that boasts an impressive output of 1020 watts. It features a frequency range of 42 to 150 Hz and an increased SPL of 3 dB to ensure a defined bass reproduction and minimal distortion. The three selectable crossover frequencies enable you to match this sub perfectly with other speakers from the DSR, DXR or DBR series. What's more, to create a great mix, you have the choice between three DSP presets: normal, boost and extended LF.
