General
The YRA-801, made by Yamaha, is an alto recorder made of castello wood. This precious wood gives it a soft, natural sound with lots of expression. It is handmade and has a lead-free finish. It is in F, as is standard for alto recorders, and it has a baroque bore. The bottom two holes have a double-bore, which makes it easy to partially plug them. This professional alto recorder is ideal for flutists who want the full and rich sound of natural woods. Accessories are included for maintaining your recorder and an eco-friendly cotton case to store it in.
