The 5-piece RDP0F5 Rydeen Burgundy Glitter drum kit by Yamaha comes complete with hardware! In terms of configuration, you're set up with a 20-inch bass drum, 10 and 12-inch toms, a 14-inch floor tom and a 14-inch snare drum. All you need is a throne, cymbals and a set of sticks, and you can start playing this set, which was named after the Japanese mythological God of thunder!

Yamaha RDP0F5 Rydeen Burgundy Glitter

This set consists of a 20 x 16-inch bass drum, 10 x 7 and 12 x 8-inch toms, a 14 x 13-inch floor tom and a 14 x 5.5-inch snare. The 7.2mm-thick shells are made of poplar, which gives the set a balanced tone and an optimal mix of high and low frequencies. The end result is a focused, rich sound with great projection and attack. All the hardware is chrome-plated and the steel triple- flanged hoops on the toms and the snare are all 1.5mm thick, which contributes to this kit's great tuning stability. The toms, floor tom and bass drum all have clear batter heads for a focused, open tone, and the snare has a coated batter head. With this kit, you can handle any style with style. Also, Yamaha have thoughtfully included hardware with this set, which means you'll get a sturdy hi-hat stand, a snare stand, two cymbal stands with boom arms and a bass drum pedal! Yamaha RDP0F5 Rydeen Burgundy Glitter Drum Kit

Een heel goede kit om mee te starten. Ik speelde al een jaar of 3 op een elektronische kit (Roland TD12) en wilde graag ook akoestisch kunnen spelen. De kit klinkt out of the box wel okee. Ik heb de vellen vervangen door Remo vellen (Emperor en ambassador) en daarmee klinken tome, kick en snare al een heel stuk beter. Nu dat ik ook aquarian studio rings heb toegevoegd klinkt het fantastisch en speelt het geweldig.

De cymbals zijn matig; deze klinken wat goedkoop en blikkerig. Als basis is het niet verkeerd, maar ik wil deze graag vervangen / upgraden. Om mee te beginnen niet slecht en het leuke is dat het een mooie gelegenheid geeft om de kit te tunen naar hoe je 'm zelf wilt hebben. Zo heb ik de ride inmiddels al vervangen door een 18" Zildjian cymbal,

Al met al biedt deze kit veel waar voor het geld.
