The Rydeen series by Yamaha is named after the Japanese God of Thunder and is designed for drummers who are just starting out. This kit comes complete with hardware and comes in a Mellow Yellow finish.

This drum kit consists of a 20 x 16-inch bass drum, 10 x 7 and 12 x 8-inch toms, a 14 x 13-inch floor tom and a 14 x 5.5-inch snare. The shells are made of 7.2mm-thick poplar for a balanced tone that offers a perfect mix of high and low frequencies. The result is focused, rich sounds with excellent projection and attack. All the shell hardware is chrome-plated and the steel, 1.5mm-thick triple-flanged hoops on the toms and snare contribute to a stable tuning. The toms, floor tom and bass drum all have clear batter heads for an open, focused sound, and the snare drum has a coated batter head. No matter which genre you play, with the right heads, this kit can handle anything! Also, Yamaha have thoughtfully throw in essential hardware, which means it comes complete with a rugged hi-hat stand, a snare drum stand, two cymbal stands with boom arms and a bass drum pedal!
