General

Pearl cares about beginner drummers, and as such, they've developed the RS525C/C31 Roadshow drum kit. It's a great first kit, as it allows you to get started right away! It doesn't just include the drum shells, it actually comes with everything you'll need - from cymbals to sticks. Furthermore, it features an attractive Jet Black finish and chrome hardware.

Pearl RS525C/C31 Roadshow Jet Black

This drum kit comes in what is called a Rock-Fusion configuration. It consists of a 22 x 16-inch bass drum, 10 x 8 and 12 x 9-inch toms and a 16 x 16-inch floor tom. Of course, you also get a 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum that will accurately pick up on everything, from the loudest accents to the softest ghost notes. All shells are made of 9 plies of poplar and are 7 mm thick, giving the kit a powerful sound.

Cymbals and hardware included

The Roadshow drum kits come with a 14-inch pair of hi-hat cymbals and a 16-inch crash/ride cymbal, as well as sturdy, double-braced stands for both of them. Of course, you also need a place to sit, so Pearl threw in a drum throne, and they even remembered to supply you with a bass drum pedal. Finally, since you don't want to play a drum kit with your hands, they even included a stick bag with 2 pairs of Pearl 5A drum sticks.
