General
Ex-Whitesnake and current Dead Dasies guitarist Doug Aldrich was so blown away by the Baroni Lab Miniamps, that he insisted on his own signature edition. This tight amp pedal has been extensively tested and awarded a stamp of approval by the man himself - and has even featured on his studio recordings. As a result, the DLA120 Miniamp pedal is fully primed to back up huge rock tone with enough tube-style warmth, punch and lush overtones, and delivers a whopping 120 Watts at 4 Ohms or 60 Watts at 8 Ohms, fully equipping any rig with more than enough power.
The DLA120: Armed & Dangerous
While this stompbox is small, the sound is not just focussed, but majestic. This Class D Baroni Lab amp is tamed with ease via a PreQ pot, and a Bass, Middle, and Treble pot to carve out the optimum tone for both leads and rhythms while the Drive pot cranks up the heat. The Volume and Master pots control the input and output levels, and on the side of the box, a speaker output has been provided for direct connection to a matching speaker cabinet, but you could just as easily use the fitted DI Sim output or both at the same time. Plant this pedal on your board and hook it up before or after the preamp via the mono effects loop and enjoy the force of high-grade, Doug Aldrich approved tone.
