Specially designed for the modern guitarist armed with a small army of effect pedals, the Peavy Invective .MH Mini Amp Head is not just compact, but insanely agile. Based on the larger Invective.120, the Mini has been developed with the capable help of Misha Mansoor from Periphery to ensure maximum performance power when it comes to stompbox-based tone shaping. Besides a solid lead channel, this wee amp sets you up with one of the very best clean channels that this kind of money can buy, and since it comes including a two-button footswitch, you can flip between Channel/Tight, toggle the Boost, Noise Gate, or buffered effects loop.

The Invective .MH: Easy to Use

Under the hood of the Invective .MH, you'll find two EL84 tubes in the power amp and three 12AX7 tubes in the preamp, assuring you of a high-gain lead channel sound that's taken direct inspiration from the legendary Peavey 6505. For quieter moments, or for home rehearsal and recordings, an attenuator has been built in to pull back the output to 5 watts or even 1 Watt, giving you potent sound at a much lower volume. Meanwhile, and to finish simplicity at its best, this little lunchbox amp has an MSDI (which means Mic Simulated Direct Interface) XLR and USB output, so you can play through a set of headphones, or record in silence with beautifully simulated, full sound.

Awesome amplifier, and pretty loud. I had a choice between the 6505 Mh and the Invective and I chose the Iivective. I like all the options it offers,: DI out and headphones as well as the footswitch options. All valves were very good make, mine came in with Sovtek power valves.
If I had the opportunity agin, I’d buy it, no hesitation.
Now, in terms of loudness, I am running the amp through a 2x12 cabinet and it easily goes above 105 dB on both channels.

Fantastisch amp de peavey invective mh ik gebruik hem op 1 watt volume met een 112 extetion cabinet hij is heel erg geschikt voor veel metal genres de clean valt ook niet tegen echt een aanrader!!!

Super amp! Geweldig geluid voor rock en metal en voor een 20w amp is deze ook behoorlijk luid icm een 2x12 cab met V30's.
Gelukkig heeft deze amp achter een schakelaar waarmee deze op 1 Watt gebruikt kan worden, handig voor thuis.
De headphone out valt wat tegen, veel te veel bass, maar de USB out is een stuk beter en super handig om mee op te nemen.
