The 12AX7 is probably the most famous amplifier tube, and is found in many amp head and combo by the Dutch guitar amplifier maker Koch. The Koch 12AX7 (ECC83) is the standard version that - like Koch's other preamp tubes - is checked for noise, hum and vibration feedback.

Het exemplaar dat ik geleverd kreeg was de slechtste in een vergelijkende test van 4 geleverde exemplaren. Minste gain en het meest microfonisch. De goedkoopste deed het nog beter. Retour gestuurd. Mijn geld niet waard. Exemplarisch? Zou zo maar kunnen. Dat wordt niet tegengesproken door mijn 30 jarige ervaring met het repareren van buizenbakken.
