General

The new AMP series by JB Systems is perfect for smaller (satellite) speakers that don't need a huge amount of power to function properly. As they are highly compact (only 1 U), you can install multiple amps in one rack (be it for fixed or mobile applications)!

Furthermore, the units feature all manner of options for optimal user-friendliness. One of these options is the soft start function, which ensures that you'll not be bothered by electric problems if you switch on all amps in one go! The fans are all temperature-controlled, so that annoying noises aren't an issue, when the sound volume and required power are low in your application. A peak limiter prevents overloading and distortion of the signal, so that you will always enjoy optimal sound quality.

The AMP 400.2 is the heaviest amp from the AMP series and produces 2x 400 watts at 4 ohms. Ideal for a set of PA speakers or a range of installation speakers. It can also power a sizeable sub as it can produce up to 800 watts at 8 ohms.
